The summer of 2025 went out with a bang as Olympic Handball Ireland brought the heat back to the sand for our annual Beach Handball competition — this year, hosted at the newly unveiled Sport Ireland Campus Beach Facility.

Results

After a day of exciting and highly competitive matches, the podium looked like this:

1st Place: Boys in Green
2nd Place: Brazucas
3rd Place: Dublin City Handball (DCH)

Individual Recognition

Best Player of the Tournament went to Gela Zhvania (DCH), whose composure on the ball, eye for goal, and leadership stood out across every game. Gela’s performance was a reminder of the individual talent emerging from Ireland’s growing handball community — and we were proud to recognise it.
