Irish National Men's Team

First introduced in 1975, the Irish Senior Men’s National Team has long tradition of competing in international tournaments.

The current squad is made up of amateur players primarily based in Ireland, with some squad members located in Germany, Austria, Denmark and the UK. Recently, the team has competed in both the 2014 and 2016 EHF European Championship Qualification Campaigns, in addition to a positive run in the 2015 IHF Emerging Nations Competition.

All participation in major European competitions is self-funded, with some support from the Olympic Council Ireland.
