IOHA launches Handball Hubs pilot project.

The Irish Olympic Handball Association has launched a new pilot project called “Handball Hubs”.

The project is an initiative which will seeĀ  coaches from different senior clubs work together in planning, hosting and delivering coaching sessions for boys and girls 10 to 15 years of age, the session will see the young handballers learn new techniques and skills in a fun atmosphere.

The idea of the hubs is to bridge the gap for players from Primary schools through to playing senior handball.

Events are planned for Dublin and Meath and if successful the Board hope to find a partner to fund the geographical expansion and frequency of the hubs.
