2018-19 Primary Schools Championships Begin

The journey to become 2018-19 Primary Schools Champions began recently for a number of schools with 2 days of handball matches taking place in their traditional venue of Gormanstown College in County Meath.


Monday November 6th saw the U-11 and U-13 boys and girls from Dublin take to the court while on Tuesday November 7th it was the turn of the Meath schools.

Some of the Dublin Schools taking part included Corduff, St. Olaf’s, St. Attracta’s and the Muslim National school while some of the Meath schools participating included Yellow Furze, Skryne, St. Pauls Rathoath and and St. Ultan’s.

The qualification process for the county finals takes place over 2 days, one before and one after Christmas with the top teams of boys and girls playing a County final with the winners proceeding to the Provincial finals.
