New Board Member and MVP’s receive Awards- AGM 2018

The 2018 Annual General Meeting of the Irish Olympic Handball Association took place on Saturday July 14th in Dublin.

There was a full agenda which included the nomination of a Ladies Handball Representative and a Motion to change the Anthem and flag of the association.

The meeting began with a moments silence to remember former UCD, Lughnasa and Ireland goalkeeper who sadly died last year.

The IOHA President, Mr. Fintan Lyons then presented his annual address, the full text of which can be read by clicking  Presidents address to the 2018 AGM

The 2018 accounts were then presented by IOHA Treasurer, Darren Connolly and were adopted by those present.

Ms. Bettina Bordas, having been nominated by the IOHA Board was then voted on to the Board.

The Motion to change the flag and anthem of the association to better reflect the all island status of the association was adopted.

The final action was to present the player of the year awards to Katrine Westun and Pedro Magnani.
