IOHA to host Anti-Doping Education seminar

The Irish Olympic Handball Association wishes to announce that it will be hosting and Anti-Doping education seminar in association with Sport Ireland in Irish Sports HQ.
Where: Irish Sports HQ
When:  Monday May 22nd 19.30 to 21.30 hrs.
Who: The course will be delivered by the Anti-Doping unit of Sport Ireland
The course is aimed primarily at the home based members of the Irish Men’s squad and their coach/management team ahead of this summers IHF Emerging Nations tournament in Bulgaria and attendance is of the utmost importance, however the seminar is also open to coaches, Club players, parents  and interested individuals within the IOHA.
At the seminar attendees will learn about the following
The Prohibited List 
 – How to Check Medications 
 – The Sample Collection Process/What Happens in a Drug Test 
 – Whereabouts Information 
 – The Role of the Coach in Anti Doping 
 – Facts about the Dangers of Doping 
 –  Assess the Risk of Using Supplements
