Ireland’s Newest Voice Of Handball

As we approach a critical point in the group stages of the Velux EHF Men’s Champion’s League the need for informative and incisive commentary is vital for handball fans.

The original voice of handball, Tom O’Brannagáin will be in Hungary as MOL-Pick Szeged play host to Macedonian champions HC Vardar in the upcoming edition in Round 13 on Sunday 28 February (17:30 hrs local time).

Before that though, ehfTV will also extend the English commentary in the next round to two more matches as Ireland’s Chris O’Reilly will cover the two first leg matches of the Group C&D knockout round.

On Saturday 27 February Naturhouse La Rioja host HC Motor Zaporozhye (16:00 hrs local time) while HC Meshkov Brest take the floor at Skjern Handbold on Sunday 28 February (15:15 hrs).

Chris has been working in the European Handball Federation’s Media Department for a number of years now and he follows in the footsteps of fellow Irishmen Tom and Dave Bregazzi when commentating on Europe’s premier club competition.

Best of luck Chris.
