IOHA to Host Refereeing Course

The Irish Olympic Handball Association (IOHA) is pleased to announce that with the assistance of the European Handball Federation(EHF) the hosting of a Refereeing Course in Dublin next month.

The Refereeing Course will be held over the weekend of the 15th to the 17th of November.

On the evening of Friday the 15th of November an EHF Lecturer will deliver a special Refereeing course aimed at Primary and Secondary School teachers. This is in order for Teachers to familiarise themselves with the rules and regulations ahead of the new Schools handball season.

On Saturday and Sunday the 16th and 17th of November a more intensive Refereeing Course will be held. This course which will include  practical and theoretical elements will be aimed at existing and new candidates for the IOHA’s Refereeing Panel. All senior Clubs are encouraged to nominate new candidates for this years course which follows the course which was successfully held in January 2012.
