Trinity College take IOHA Inter Varsity title.

Blanchardstown Institute of Tecnology played host to the recent IOHA Intervarsity Tournament.

4 teams took part after Dublin Business School withdrew at the eleventh hour but this did not take away from the quality or excitement of the handball on display.

The 4 remaining teams , hosts Blanchardstown, UCD , UCC and TCD put on a great display of handball.

The tournament was a mixed tournament and was played in an athmosphere of friendship and fun.

At the end of the tournament Trinity College Dublin ran out winners even though they were beaten by Blanchardstown in their 1st Match.

UCC returned to Cork with their 2nd Silver medal in the space of 3 months having finished 2nd in their own tournament which took place here before Christmas.

Hosts Blanchardstown claimed the Bronze medal while UCD battled all day even though they were short a player for the entire duration of the tournament.

The IOHA hopes all the teams enjoyed the tournament. For some of the players it was their 1st experience of handball.

We look forward to an even bigger tournament next year.
