2017-18 IOHA Women’s League starts on October 21st

The 2017/2018 IOHA Women’s League welcomes University College Cork this season, and they open their campaign away to University College Dublin on November 5th. Champions Dublin International begin their title defence against Dublin City on Saturday 21st of October in Dublin City University. The match will form part of a triple header curtain raiser for the new season, sandwiched between 2 Men’s League matches.

Astra, last year’s losing finalists, must wait until the 12th of November to start their challenge for the league title against UC Dublin. The repeat of last year’s semi-final is sure to be hard fought with both teams hoping to gain an early advantage.

The IOHA Cup will be held on the 24th and 25th of March 2018 in Gormanston College, with all teams hopeful of winning the first trophy of the season.

The final round of matches take place on Saturday 14th of April. Phibblestown will host a repeat of last year’s final, with Dublin International taking on Astra. Dublin City finish their season against UC Cork. It will be confirmed which teams will go into the playoffs and who will have the chance to be the new Irish champions.
