IOHA 2017 Annual General Meeting

The 2017 Annual General Meeting took place on Saturday July 8th in Irish Sports HQ.

On the agenda for the meeting were the adoption of the 2016 accounts, the Anti-doping report, the election of the President of the Irish Olympic Handball Association and the presentation of awards to the 2016-17 Senior League MVP’s.

Mr. Fintan Lyons having nominated for re-election by the IOHA Board and being the only candidate was duly re-elected for a further 3 year term.

The President’s first duty following re-election was to present awards to the 2016-17 Most Valuable Players,  Dragos Busuioc and Magda Andrzejewska, both from Dublin International Handball Club.

On the day, Ireland U-18 Men’s Team Manager, Hartmut Krahn gave a presentation on the Men 2018 Project. M18 2018 Project

Also mentioned was the upcoming European Week of Sport and the creation of the 2018-2021 IOHA Strategic Plan.
