National Men’s Coach Attends IHF Coaches Symposium

As part of the International Handball Federations commitment to coaches education the 2017 Men’s World Championships will also act as a focal point for handball coaches from over the world when they attend this edition of the IHF’s Coaches Symposium.

Thanks to the support of the IHF, National Men’s team coach, Roman Abramenko is in Paris this weekend along with nearly 400 other coaches.

From 11 (10:00am) to 14 January 2017 (14:30pm), coaches from all over the world will
gather in Serris, Val d’Europe to attend the named event. Amongst others, the following
topics will be presented during the 4-day seminar.
Analysis of the effectiveness of the new rules (since 01/07/2016): In theory and
practice, important contents resulting from the rule changes, are methodically
reviewed (for example to change the goalkeeper in favour of another field player;
passive play; duels in the pivot zone).
Speed Game in all phases of our game: For the first time, the main trend in
international handball is worked out methodically for both the junior and top
training.
