Change Of Venue For IOHA Coaching Course

The Irish Olympic Handball Association is delighted to announce that International Handball (IHF) Federation Lecturer, Mr. Klaus Feldmann will deliver a coaching course at the end of this month.

Klaus will visit Dublin as part of the IHF’s Development Program for handball in Ireland with the Coaching Course now taking place in Colaiste de hIde, Castletymon Road, Tallaght  on Saturday and Sunday   23rd and 24th of May from 10.00 to 18.00 hrs. each day.

Directions to Colaiste de hIde can be found here . If you are travelling by Bus the 77A stops right outside while the 27 stops approximately 250m away, both travel through Dublin City Centre

Among the topics being discussed at the course are

  • Technical Skills
  • Strategy and Tactics
  • Physical Fitness
  • The Female Athlete
  • Coordination and Speed
  • Rules and Fair Play.

Demonstration teams from the IOHA’s National Academy will be present over the weekend for the practical side of the course. Also present over the weekend will be the Irish Men’s Squad as they continue their preparations for next months IHF Trophy.

The course has been organised by IOHA Technical Director Andrea Ongaro with the assistance of the IOHA National Academy Director, Alex Markovic and IOHA Operations Manager, Susan Moloney.

 

The Course fee is €50 and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who have already or are about to start on the handball coaching ladder.
