New O’Neills Ireland kit unveiled

O’Neills and the Irish Olympic Handball Association (IOHA) unveiled the brand new Ireland kit for the IHF/EHF Challenge Tophy. The kit was launched as part of new two year sponsorship between O’Neills and the IOHA. The kit launch at the IOHA offices in Sports HQ was attended by members of the Irish team, past and present, as well as staff and board members of the IOHA.

IOHA President Fintan Lyons spoke of his pride in seeing the new jersey unveiled. “The IOHA and the board are committed to providing every possible support to the squad and it is a great comfort to know that O’Neills are on board. They have produced an excellent jersey which incorporates the new logo of the IOHA as well the modern approach the organisation is taking. They involved players, coaches and staff in the design and production process ensuring the best result for all”.

Speaking at the launch, IOHA General Manager Lúcás Ó’Ceallacháin expressed the IOHA’s pleasure at the new deal. “This is a great partnership for the IOHA and O’Neills. O’Neills are recognised as the leading brand in sportswear in Ireland and bring a new level of professionalism to this area for the IOHA and the national team. We are delighted with this partnership and grateful to O’Neills for their support. It’s vitally important that every aspect of the team preparation be handled in professional manner and O’Neills have impressed us at every opportunity. The players are looking forward to pulling on the jersey and representing Ireland in the upcoming IHF/EHF Challenge Trophy”.

The Irish team will have the chance to pull on the green jersey when they take to the court for the IHF/EHF Challenge Tophy in Limerick from the 4th to the 6th of November at the UL Arena.
